Angie
Founder, Director
Tribú Global Language & Learning was born out of Angie's passion for language and culture. Channeling her educational background and her love of language and culture, Angie decided to create a space where families can learn and play together.
Angie's career began as a teacher in LAUSD, where she taught in the bilingual program for over 8 years. She is a credentialed bilingual instructor in California with a M.A. in Bi-Cultural Education. However, after having her fourth child, she chose to stay home to raise her own bilingual babies. Seeing the lack of language classes for children in the area, Angie started tutoring out of her home in 2010. This is where "Tribu" was formed.
Angie enjoys spending time with her 5 children, extended family, and friends, traveling the world, working out and yoga to stay active.
